Wing Foiling, also known as Wing Surfing, is a relatively new water sport that combines elements from windsurfing, kitesurfing, and foiling. The foil under the board allows for gliding over the water at sufficient speed while minimizing resistance. The wing serves as the driving force by capturing the wind. The wing can be positioned differently while riding to generate anywhere from no to a lot of power. Wing Foiling offers a unique feeling of freedom and lightness. Gliding over the water with only the sound of the gliding foil beneath one's feet creates an almost floating experience, distinctly different from other water sports. It requires skill, balance, and a good understanding of the wind and waves to effectively control the wing and the board. The ability to go on the water even on days with light wind makes this sport particularly attractive.
Experience the incredible feeling of Wing Foiling yourself and sign up for one of our courses. We are also happy to teach you new tricks or how to ride waves. Since our spot is rather challenging for beginners due to choppy waves, we conduct the first hours of instruction on flat water at Granadilla Harbor.
