We are happy to assist you in discovering the exhilarating sport of TRUE WINDSURFING! Whether you're an absolute beginner or an experienced sailor with many years of expertise, we are here to ensure you make the most of each session. All our windsurfing lessons are available in Spanish, English, German, Italian, and French. Additionally, they are conducted by internationally certified and experienced windsurf instructors.

We provide fixed courses designed for beginners and improvers, as well as customized coaching sessions for those aspiring to learn wave-riding, front- and backloops, or master slalom techniques. Our lessons are tailored to your skill level, requirements, preferences, and the prevailing conditions during your stay. The following packages will aid you in navigating your options more effectively and assist in choosing the appropriate windsurf course for you.

PROFESSIONAL TUITION PROGRAM

Our instructors come from all over the world, speak many languages and have an amazing amount of experience. We never failed in getting our guests' windsurfing to the next level.

RADIO HELMETS & VIDEO SUPPORT

When following a high-level or improver lesson, we offer the possibility to go to the water with our BB-Talk system. This system allows you to have a constant live connection with your instructor, which can be very useful in breaking down moves and working on more complicated tricks. When requested we can work with video analysis, but because this is more time-consuming it is not standard.

WINDSURFING STARTER LESSONS

Approx. 6 - 10 HOURS

The Windsurfing Starter Course typically takes place in the South Bay, where our school is located. However, if conditions in the South Bay are not suitable for beginners, we move to Playa Chica or Granadilla Harbour. Playa Chica, within walking distance of our school, offers flat water conditions during low tide. Granadilla Harbour, just a 10-minute drive from the center, also provides flatwater conditions, creating a beginner-friendly environment to help you focus on learning windsurfing.

 

The beginner lesson covers not only the practical basics of windsurfing (such as setting up the board and rig, uphauling the sail, starting and stopping, steering, and tacking) but also essential theoretical knowledge, including equipment, right of way, meteorology, and more. After 10 hours, you'll be able to windsurf independently in various conditions and begin to improve and explore this wonderful sport!

WINDSURFING REFRESHER

PROGRESS

The Refresher Course is the right choice for either those who haven't been sailing for some time and want to get used to the conditions in El Médano or those who have just finished their starter course and want to improve to the next level. You will start to use a harness, improve your skills on steering, fast tacking and jibing and maybe more! Further topics are the beach start and foot steering. Due to our Bluetooth two-way communication from Bb Talkin, you can communicate with each other on the water. This will help you improve your level in a short time.

WINDSURFING IMPROVER

IMPROVER

Anyone aspiring to elevate their windsurfing skills and would like to learn how to get planing with a windsurf board should opt for the improver courses. Essential topics covered in these courses include waterstart, planing, and mastering the use of straps. Those who find some maneuvers like the jibe a hard nut to crack are in good hands and we will take you into the air for the first time; jumping is on the menu! The advanced course can be individually tailored to the demands of a group. Due to our Bluetooth two-way communication from Bb Talkin, you can communicate with each other on the water. This will help you raise your level in a short time.

If you are already a good windsurfer but want to improve on specific topics like wave riding, various loops, race techniques or any other moves, we are here to coach you in an efficient and fun way. Together with our coach we determine your needs and wishes before you go sailing together and practice on the water. Due to our Bluetooth two-way communication system from Bb Talkin, you can communicate with each other on the water. This will help you raise your level in a short time.
